Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. My love of photography began at an early age. Okay, I'll date myself...the first camera I remember using was a Brownie! ha! I started taking photos of my family and friends first. My Dad was a very good photographer, and I enjoyed looking at his work wishing I could be as good some day. When I was 17 years old, my Dad and I were out on his sailboat on Lake Michigan and he wanted to take some pictures...well, the camera fell in the lake! After that, and another lost/and or broken camera, he finally handed me his last one and said, "Here, it's your turn, you take the pictures now."
